BCHBCT would like to announce that Coordinator, Mma Basuti Jacob, has moved on from the organisation to further her career goals and family. We are happy for her, yet sad to say goodbye. Mma Jacob will continue her public service under the Republic of Botswana, Ministry of Education.
Before Mma Jacob departed for her new adventure, BCHBCT held a wonderful farewell celebration in her honour.

BCHBCT held its Grand Opening Event for its new after school Education Centre on September 22nd. We were honored to have Minister of Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs, MP for Nkange,
Honourable Edwin Jenamiso Batshu officiate our Official Opening.
We were also graced by the presence of Delegation of the European Union to Botswana and SADC,
His Excellency Ambassador Alexander Baum.
With construction now complete, BCHBCT is excited to furnish the rest of the facility and get services for community children started as soon as possible. Limpopo-Lipadi generously donated toward our Child & Family Education Centre earlier this year.
They even took some of our students and tutors out for a free game drive to see wildlife and teach them about conservation! For many, it was their first time to see these animals. Their experience gave them a new appreciation for the environment in which they live.
Thank you Limpopo-Lipadi for supporting Bobonong’s children and your community!
The Bobonong Child & Family Education Centre will be having a Grand Opening Event on August 14! Once the facility is open we will continue to provide services to families, as well as psycho-social support, life skills, and tutoring to students.
